With the general election called for Thursday 6th May and the manifestos of the main political parties due to be published from 12th April onwards, this session will compare and contrast the education and skills policies of the Labour, Conservative and Liberal Democrat parties.

The seminar will be chaired by Tricia Hartley, Chief Executive of the Campaign for Learning. Mark Corney, Policy Adviser to the Campaign will deliver a detailed presentation on each of the party’s education and skills policies. Professor Bob Fryer, chair of the Campaign will act as summater.
