NADEC & AERO Conferences Explained!

Two different conferences are happening back to back at the same location!  What are they and how are they different?  Brief overviews/information on each conference can be found below.  The North American Democratic Education Conference (NADEC) is organized by a number of schools in New York with AERO while focusing on democratic education.  AERO is targeted for everyone involved in educational alternatives around North America and the world.  After reading the descriptions below, if you still have questions, please e-mail Isaac Graves at aeroconference@gmail.com or nadec2009@gmail.com

The primary focus of the North American Democratic Education Conference is to celebrate democratic education and facilitate the sharing of tools and ideas to improve democratic, self-directed learning environments. The NADEC conference aims to build a stronger and more cohesive community of democratic schools and programs across North America. This is a conference for anyone looking to be intimately involved in democratic education; including teachers, mentors, students, parents, administrators and supporters.
