Wellbeing: ‘A contented state of being happy, healthy and prosperous’.

It’s something we all aspire to, but how often do we consider the impact that ‘wellbeing’ has on people’s lives, their capability and productivity at work and their ability to learn.
Wellbeing is like learning, important to all ages and people, but often forgotten when it comes to adults and workers. Following on from the ‘Every Child Matters’ agenda, should future policy-making focus on the well being for the entire population, e.g. the parents and managers of these children and can we actually legislate for happiness?
