Call for Entries: Times Higher Education Awards 2008

Celebrating excellence and achievement in the higher education sector, the Times Higher Education Awards is calling universities to submit award entries by 12 June 2008. These awards are the highlight of the academic calendar, representing the pinnacle of achievement for innovation and outstanding success in the higher education sector.

o        Marketing Initiative of the Year

o        Outstanding Support for Overseas Students (sponsored by the QAA)

o        Outstanding Support for Disabled Students

o        Outstanding Financial Student Support Package

o        Outstanding Support for Early Careers Researchers (sponsored by RCUK and UK GRAD)

o        Outstanding Contribution to Sustainable Development

o        Outstanding Contribution to Leadership Development (sponsored by the Leadership Foundation)

o        Outstanding Contribution to Innovation and Technology

o        Lifetime Achievement Award

o        Entrepreneurial University of the Year (sponsored by NCGE)

o        University of the Year (sponsored by Hobsons)

Entry for THE Awards is online at www.timeshighereducation.co.uk/awards. The deadline for entries is 12 June 2008. Short-listed entrants will be announced in Times Higher Education on 11 September 2008, and the winners will be revealed during the awards ceremony itself on Thursday 23 October at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London.
